On Wednesday, August 15 more than 100 women entered the Lincoln Experience Center in Newport Beach, CA for an event described to be “uniquely female.” Combining networking, wine sipping, food tasting and engaging dialogue, a local panel presented by Orange County United Way and Bank of America gathered a diverse group with one goal, empowerment.

As three women took over the stage to take on the topic of branding, their words were met with head nods, laughter and internal reflection.

In grad school I dreamed of working in a community relations role for a professional sports organization because of the power of sports and athletes to make an impact. I look forward to attending service each weekend, and praise and worship is my favorite part. Being surrounded by the holy spirit in the house of the Lord with other believers is an indescribable feeling. What I love more than being one of many worshipping is personal time with the Lord in song and worship after my morning devotional or on my way to work.
